Fixing Faucets & Sinks
Need an Experienced Kansas City Plumber?
In spite of how important the plumbing is in your home, it's not guaranteed to be foolproof forever. There is bound to be a time when an issue will arise with your
plumbing. Perhaps you have a leaky faucet, or a clogged sink. Or maybe your plumbing problem is on an even bigger scale - a burst pipe, for example.
No matter what the size, you are going to want to call a licensed and experienced Kansas City plumber.
A-1 Sewer & Septic Service Inc. has been successfully handling a wide range of plumbing problems since 1968, both commercial and residential across
Shawnee, Johnson County, and surrounding areas.
What to Do When Your Faucet or Sink is Broken
Sometimes faucets break, and water can suddenly start spewing forcefully all over the room. One thing you should try to do is shut it off as soon as possible. The shut-off valves are located under the sink, one for hot and one for cold. Turn the valve handles until the water stops.
If they are stuck, carefully use pliers to slowly loosen them. If the handles just turn freely with no traction, you need to tighten the screw on the front of the handle, then try turning them again. Once the water is stopped, contact our team. If you have a clogged sink, we will investigate the source, unclog it and inspect the lines for other problems or damage.
